Web/Graphic Designer, Full-time

Adnet Communications is seeking a talented web/graphic designer to join our fast-growing design and technology firm.

In this role, you will actively contribute to the evolution of our clients’ corporate images through the design of web sites and collateral pieces. We are looking for someone with enthusiasm, creativity, and focus who can adapt quickly to our dynamic work environment and the changing landscape of the on-line world.

Our primary area of business is providing publicly traded companies with investor-focused websites so experience providing design solutions to a related industry is an asset.

The successful candidate will display:

• A mind for concept, with an eye for detail.
• Expert knowledge of graphics software and techniques
• Web design experience, with a proficient understanding of HTML markup
• The ability to consistently deliver high-caliber design solutions, and to balance project deliverables across multiple projects.

Requirements:

• Formal design education (or equivalent experience) and at least 24 months experience.
• Ability to handle design projects from concept to production-ready artwork
• Creative, motivated, ambitious, and committed
• Working knowledge of MAC and/or PC
• Experience developing logos/print/animation or other skills applicable to web design would be an asset.

Skills:

• Adobe Photoshop skills with strong knowledge of color theory, typography, layout, and design for interactive media.
• HTML (hand-code): Although HTML production will not be a large part of your position, an understanding of proper mark-up and how to design for it is required.
